Snifflehunch Dragon | HTTYD Fan-Art

This is a Snifflehunch from How to Train your Dragon! I sculpted this fine fellow digitally in Sculptris a while back. This boi took a long time to make, and I'm very satisfied with the result. Thankfully, I used stamps and didn't have to scratch each scale in by hand. The trickiest part I found was the wings. I wonder how this guy could even take off with such a big body and such little wings. Still, I'm very happy with this sculpt! :D

Hey everyone! Here's a colored in page from my coloring book, I Draw, You Color! This dragon is a Dynogaradon. Dynogaradons are omnivores, their diet mainly consisting on hard-shelled crustaceans and nuts. They are not rare, and are rather common. They lurk around tropical coastlines. They can harm humans, but choose not to unless provoked.

Night Fury fashioned w/ rambutan peels :D

In case you don't know, this is the rambutan fruit native to tropical South East Asia. My Lolo (grandpa) have lots of these very sweet fruit in his orchard in the Philippines. Have you ever tried it? Rambutan trees can be male producing only staminate flowers hence, produce no fruit. The female or hermaphroditic produce flowers that are female with a small percentage of male flowers. So I guess that's how they produce their fruits. The peeled fruits are  sweet and can be eaten raw, and the seeds can be cooked and eaten. No waste. And the hairy peel as you can see, can be used for some art. Just like how used it to fashion my night fury dragon toy. Ha!

I just couldn't resist to post another blog post today! I needed to make up for all the days I missed posting on. :P
This is another noob art I made about the Speed-Stinger dragon from How-To-Train-Your-Dragon. Made entirely offline, I couldn't do the proper shading... I was using very cheap materials.
Just like in my other post today, I will upgrade this picture. But I will do it offline AND online! Keep drawing!
