I just joined K12's Decade Art Contest. I chose the Psychedelic 60's because it's so colorful. The Flower Children's message was *Peace, Love not War*. It's a great message. I don't like war and violence because so many people get hurt.
I love animals so I decided to portray the flower children as animals. I drew an afghan hound playing the guitar and an orangutan showing the peace sign. A goat is driving the hip car and a cat in a leopard pyjama is holding a sunflower.
Colorful world makes me feel happy. :D
This is a collage I made when I was 6 years old. I'm glad we took pics of it because now it's all dried up and not so colorful anymore. Anyway, I used the wilting flowers from our vase, onion peels, crayon and pencil shavings and colored pens to color some parts of the bugs. I also used yarns to outline the honeycomb, puppy and ardvark.
HAPPY SPRINGTIME FRIENDS! :)
One of my favorite things to do..... Drawing animals! I can't remember a day that I have not drawn anything. My mom and dad are my number one fans.
My mom collects all my drawings since forever... I usually draw on paper first then scan and color them in GIMP. I also learned how to draw in GIMP using the mouse but it's not easy. So I mostly use it to color and add special effects on my art. But if I'm in the mood, I make good enough artwork using the mouse. Will share more later.:)
